Full Day Hikes

Full Day Hikes are designated trails that are longer than 10 km round trip. These trails often take 5 - 8 hours and are recommended for more experienced hikers. Food, water, proper outdoor gear, hiking boots and extra clothing are strongly recommended.

The following trails are suitable for more aggressive hikers who wish to explore deeper into Waterton’s backcountry. Estimated hiking times will depend on conditions, ability and the speed at which your party chooses to travel. Before setting out into the backcountry, check with Tamarack Outdoor Outfitters for current trail conditions
